As the Director of Public Relations, it is my responsibility to promote LMU-DCOM's SOMA chapter locally and nationally.  I work closely with the Director of Public Relations of the medical school, currently Amy Drittler, to promote a positive rapport and provide information for and about the university, the college, osteopathic medical students and the osteopathic profession.

Goals of Position:

1. Establish programs for SOMA members and the general public to interact, with the goal of promoting SOMA, the College and the profession.
2. Work closely with other SOMA officers, especially the Volunteer Coordinator, to establish public service programs.
3. Network with other medical students, medical schools, and student organizations.
4. Assist with promotions and advertising of SOMA.
